Hall For Cornwall
HFC is arguably Cornwall’s most major venue and regularly hosts musicals, ballet, opera, entertainers, comedians and musical acts. The auditorium was built in 1846 and has a capacity just shy of 1000 and there is also a restaurant, coffee shop, bar and regular flea markets. Check their website for listings. (link website)
Plaza Cinema is one of Cornwall’s largest cinemas and shows all of the latest releases, some great independent films and sometime plays host to film evenings focussed on classics and cult films.
Truro Cathedral, or The Cathedral of the Blessed Mary, Truro is located in the centre of Cornwall’s capital city. Built in the gothic revival style of the 1800s, the three spired Cathedral is one of the favourite things to do in Truro amongst tourists.
If you’re a football fan who’s away from home then why not catch our local team if they’re playing at home on a Saturday or midweek. The team play a couple of levels below the Conference and the football is of a very good level.
